Samsung Galaxy Gear is a smartwatch that was announced on September 4, 2013 by Samsung at Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 in Berlin. Galaxy Gear (Smartwatch) which comes with 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display which has 320 x 320 pixels resolution. This new smartwatch also carries a 1.9 MP auto-focus camera which you might later think is has awkward position. However, this new Galaxy Gear smartwatch comes with 800 MHz processor. This galaxy gear is capable of playing back as well as capturing 720p HD videos.
It will only work with the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), after release the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy Note II.

The Korean electronics giant’s own ChatOn instant messaging application and Samsung Apps store were also mentioned.
