#DrugsMustFall : HEALTH OFFICIAL BUST FOR STEALING CHRONIC DRUGS!

THE long arm of the law has come down with a mighty blow on criminals in Ekurhuleni, east of Joburg recently.
Not only have the city’s Metro cops arrested three of Gauteng’s most wanted criminals in the past four weeks, but now they have also bust a stolen medication syndicate!
Ekurhuleni Metro cops on Friday nabbed a government official and another suspect with medicine worth about R150 000 in KwaThema.
The arrests are part of the newly launched Operation Bumper-to-Bumper.
Metro police believe the medication was stolen by the official and sold to the suspect, who reportedly confessed to the cops that he had been buying the medicine fraudulently for the past three years.
Khosi Mabaso, member of the mayoral committee for health and social development, told Daily Sun that cops found key medication used at clinics, including medicine for diabetes, HIV and for children.
“One of the suspects is an official at our depot.
“We need to dig deeper. They must tell us who the other people in the syndicate are.”
