Description:
Provision of capital raising expertise for the Gauteng Partnership Fund Gauteng Partnership Fund ("GPF"): The GPF was established as a trust in 2002 and is accountable to the Gauteng Department of Human Settlements. It operates as a Development Finance Institution with the specific mandate of facilitating access to decent but affordable housing in the Gauteng Province. Its mandate is limited to affordable and social housing only. Its catalytic role has facilitated commercial sector investment in this market of over R2,5 billion. Opportunity/brief: Suitably experienced and qualified prospective service providers are invited to submit proposals for the provision of capital raising expertise to assist the GPF with raising concessionary funding both locally and/or abroad for investment purposes. The amount required is a minimum of R250 million to allow the GPF to pursue its mandate of facilitating entry intothe Affordable Housing market. Criteria All respondents need to demonstrate * A full understanding of development finance * History and experience in successfully raising concessionary funding * Established networks of multilateral funding institutions Submission Requirements Responses should include amongst others the following mandatory information: * Statutory Documents * Tax Clearance Certificate * Company profile * BBBEE Certification * Enterprise Questionnaire * SBD Forms Evaluation Criteria All responses shall be evaluated on the 90/10 point system as prescribed under the Preferential Procurement Act, 2011. Submission of proposals All respondents are required to attend a compulsory brief session which will be held at 11:00 on the 23rd January 2014 at GPF Offices, Sandton, Johannesburg. The Respondents will be required to submit at least two (2) copies of their proposals. A sealed envelope must be delivered to the GPF Offices, 82 Grayston Drive, Sandton, by no later than 11h00 on 30 April 2014.
