DJ WARRAS RUSHED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM

LIVE AMP and 5FM presenter DJ Warras was rushed to the emergency room with a bleeding arm.
“Warras”, real name Warrick Stock, was an MC at the Spring Fiesta last weekend. But his fun was short-lived as paramedics whisked him away.
Numerous witnesses at the event said he had a bleeding arm which forced him to pass the microphone to his colleague, Pearl Thusi.
“He was put in a wheelchair and was holding his bleeding arm.
“He looked like he was in pain. We thought maybe he’d been stabbed or someone had thrown a bottle at him,” said witnesses.
Speaking to Sunday Sun, the “Shady Lurker” as DJ Warras is also known, said the problem started a week before a boxing training session with his friend.
“I had a hairline bone fracture which caused me to be in pain for three days.
“On Friday, I was fine and cleared off to go and play in my gigs,” he said.
“On Saturday, I wasn’t in pain whatsoever. It was packed and a lot of my fans kept on hugging and bumping in to me.
“As I was walking towards the stage at the Spring Fiesta, I could feel a bit of pain. But when I bumped into rapper JR, who knocked my ribs and elbow, I was back to square one within seconds a nd I started bleeding.
“Luckily, paramedics were close by, so they quickly attended to me,” he said.
“I’ll be fine in three or four weeks’ time. But just now I need to get enough rest and focus on getting better,” he said.
