Famous puppet, Chester Missing is Back

Famous puppet, Chester Missing has some fresh new content to share with Joburg audiences.
Chester and his self-proclaimed faithful sidekick, Conrad Koch, just got back from the Edinburgh Festival where they watched many international acts.
Now he brings his hilarious new show, Missing, to The Fringe at Joburg Theatre from today until 7 November.
Speaking to SunBuzz, Conrad said: “We will have fun with some really crazy new concepts. Chester does a lot of impressions, discusses topics like Jan van Riebeeck, Nkandla, the Public Protector and the DA among many other topics.”
Conrad said they would be accompanied by Charles Hilary, a life coach who gives the worst advice, and Green Monster Ronnie, who has been known to try and sell drugs to audience members.
“The show will also get the audience involved. There will be a lot of interactive stuff, including video content. It will be fun,” he said.
Conrad said Chester is the opposite of him. “The Conrad you are talking to now is not the Conrad you will see on stage – there are many different parts to me.
“I’m oblivious to what’s happening in the world when I’m on stage and Chester is there to highlight some of those things for me,” he said.
Chester has gone missing on two different occasions this year. The first was on a flight from Tanzania in May and the most recent was on a connecting flight from France after the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, Canada.
) Tickets are available through Computicket at R120.
