#FeesMustFall: ANC youth leader insults Zuma and Blade over Wits

These were the shocking profanities hurled at President Jacob Zuma and Minister of Higher Education and Training Blade Nzimande, by ANC Youth League Johannesburg Region deputy chairperson Kenneth Mgaga on Friday.
Mgaga posted the philippic on his Facebook page when Wits University students protested against the decision to hike tuition and accommodation fees by 10.5% on Friday.
Mgaga, who was instrumental in organising the protest alongside the university's axed student representatives council president Mcebo Dlamini, took his vexation to another level and insulted his principals on Facebook when they apparently failed to intervene.
"Ok F*ck Jacob Zuma and F*ck Doctor Blade Nzimande, they are useless, if they can't solve simple educational issues at Wits University then f**k them," he posted.
When contacted by Sunday World yesterday, the young leader, who hails from Alexandra township in Joburg, was unapologetic for insulting his mandarins.
"Those people are useless. They are occupying offices of power and have done nothing to stop Wits from hiking fees. Blade is attending an education summit in Durban, he was supposed to call Wits vice chancellor Adam Habib and say 'stop hiking the fees' but he did not do that," he said. "I know the language I used is wrong but that's how we young people speak in order to get attention from the leadership. But most importantly that is the language we use every day. For instance, I can say 'f'**k it's hot."
ANC national spokesman Zizi Kodwa said the party was appalled by Mgaga's remarks and would take appropriate action against him.
"We are appalled and shocked at such disregard of discipline and high levels of disrespect from the leader of the youth league, not just member but a leader," said Kodwa.
"I have spoken to the youth league and we have asked them to take appropriate action."
