I get a little thrill every time I accidentally type a key-combination which results in an epic shortcut. Adding it to my ammunition, it just makes using either a Mac or PC that much smoother.
So when I stumble upon a list of shortcuts for a website that you probably use every day, say hello to living the dream. We’ve found an epic infographic of shortcuts for Gmail – but remember, you need to have your shortcuts enabled:
- Click the mail_gear.png in the top-right corner of Gmail and select Settings.
- Under the “General” tab, find the “Keyboard Shortcuts” section and select Keyboard shortcuts on.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Voila, now are you ready to use the various shortcuts that will apparently save you 60 hours a year – or give you more time to get sucked into the ether of the internet.
Check here for all the shortcuts that apply to your home page, when you’re in conversation and when you want to compose an email.
