PHILEMON Maredi fears he will lose his business! Someone has put muthi on his gate.
He said an inyanga and a prophet both told him the muthi was too strong for them.
The 45-year-old owner of MP Maredi Mini Market and Tuck Shop in Barcelona extension 26 , Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, told Daily Sun his shop was his only source of income and he didn’t know what would happen to his three children if he lost it.
“I bought stock worth R30 000 and people have been buying in large numbers but I don’t have any money. It just disappears. I believe the muthi is taking my money,” he said.
“Sometimes my youngest child cries all night and something moves outside,” he said.
Philemon worked for a construction company until 2013 and spent most of his savings on opening his shop.
He got an inyanga to help him in February because of money problems and got another opinion from a prophet last week.
Both said muthi was planted.
“I don’t know where my money is going. We don’t sell on credit.”
Traditional healer Mahlinza Dlamini from Vosloorus said there may be two reasons for his problems. “Evil people might have buried a human body part under his gate and burned it with muthi later to take his money. They might also have buried cursed money in the yard.”
