RIP : Lolo Passes Away In Car Accident on N2 Cape Town

CAPE TOWN – Western Cape Paramedics say two men have been killed in a car crash in Khayelitsha, one of them is said to be a well-known Ajax Cape Town defender, Cecil Lolo.

According to media reports, it’s understood two vehicles collided on Spine Road just before the N2 last night.

The soccer player was driving a VW Golf GTI at the time of the accident.
Cape Town emergency services Robert Daniels could not divulge identity of the deceased.
“The driver of the VW Golf is rumoured to be sports star of some form, soccer player, but I can’t give identification as such.”

Ajax Cape Town defender, Cecil Lolo, has sadly passed away after being involved in a car accident in the early hours of the morning.

The details of what transpired is still sketchy, however the Siya crew are investigating.

Lolo was a vital part of the Ubarn Warriors' good form this season, while he also played a key role in the MTN8 Final, where Ajax beat Kaizer Chiefs.
