LEHLOHONOLO Mfane (23) still remembers how at the age of seven his mum used to scold him when he showed off his body’s amazing flexibility.
But little did he know then that one day his mum, Mamorena (62), would be his biggest fan – and that he would put food on the table using his unique talent!
Lehlohonolo from Old location in Fateng Tse Ntsho, near Paul Roux, Free State, says he attracts residents and tourists with his contortionist tricks, putting his legs over his head and crawling on his ass. He starts by sitting on the ground, then lifts his right leg right around his head and places his right foot on his left shoulder, and then the other leg follows. He can even do push-ups in that position.
Lehlohonolo told Daily Sun: “When I was seven I discovered I could do what other kids could not.
“The teachers stopped me and reported the matter to my mum.”
Mamorena said: “I warned him not to do it any more as I did not want to see him getting injured. Now that people want to see him do it and pay him, I support him wholeheartedly.”
Lehlohonolo said on a good day he takes home R400 and when things are not good, R120 is his reward.
