THE FACE OF BEAUTY

MODEL Tsholofelo Matlou had to face a lot of challenges to reach where she is today.
She said being a model is not easy at times but she never gives up.
Since a young age she has entered beauty pageants but she only managed to claim the crown a few times.
All the challenges have not stopped her from working hard.
Tonight she leaves Mzansi to represent the country at the Face of Beauty International 2015, which will be hosted in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from Sunday until 19 October.
“I am very excited about this opportunity I have been given to represent my country.
“I will make sure I do my best to teach my fellow contestants about South Africa,” she said.
Tsholofelo, a 25-year-old from Ga-Moletjie, Limpopo, said this is her first international trip.
“This pageant has created a lot of opportunities for me,” she said.
She said last year she entered Miss Heritage World in Zimbabwe and that is where the directors of Face of Beauty International noticed her.
Although she did not win in Zimbabwe, other opportunities have come her way.
“Being chosen as a candidate relies on the top pageant directors to recommend one.
“I am really glad that they saw something in me,” she said.
When she is not on stage modelling, Tsholofelo is a businesswoman who wants to make sure that young people are presented with chances for a better life.
