WATCH: MY DOG HELPED ME WITH HEALING!

SANGOMA MICHAEL Rumbu said he and his dog were a team that healed the sick and brought happiness to his clients.
Michael loved his dog so much he even named him Sangoma as a sign of respect and affection.
BUT NOW SANGOMA THE DOG IS DEAD, AND SANGOMA MICHAEL IS WORRIED ABOUT LOSING HIS POWERS.
The dog died when it was run over by a truck on Tuesday, and the sangoma hasn’t been able to read the bones since. People leave his house without getting help.
Sangoma Michael (65), who lives in Knights squatter camp near Germiston, Ekurhuleni said losing his dog was a terrible thing.
“The dog was like my child. She could predict troubles coming to my life and my family. She protected me from unforeseen dangers,” he said.
“The dog could tell me who was coming for help, and what kind of problems they had. I could prepare muthi even before the patients arrived. People were very grateful and thanked me for my help.”
He said Sangoma helped him to assist people with all kinds of problems, from bringing back lost lovers to getting jobs and boosting their sex drive.
“Sangoma’s death has broken my heart and has put a stop to what I have been doing for many years,” said Michael.
He told Daily Sun the dog had saved him from death many times.
“Once, when my wife went to visit relatives, I got sick. One night I fell from the bed, but the dog licked me and sat at my side barking until the ancestors heard her. I was able to stand up and get back into bed.”
He said in December last year he stepped on an izinyoka wire.
“I was badly shocked. When I fell to the ground the dog pushed me off the wire and away from danger,” he said.
Michael has four other dogs but none of them can replace Sangoma.
“She was my spiritual guide.
I love my dogs and they are my best friends. I feed them well and I make sure I take them to the animal clinic for their health, but they don’t have Sangoma’s gift.”
