FORMER Big Brother Mzansi contestant Brumilda “Lexi” van Niekerk says she’s not a gold digger!
Last year, she made headlines when she and Mandla bonked in the shower and were watched by millions of viewers.
Later, Mandla won the big prize.
Rumours did the rounds that Lexi was after Mandla’s million, and that’s why she continued their relationship after the reality show.
Sunday Sun can reveal that “Sexy Lexi”, as she’s known, is to host her own entertainment show called The Weekend Hangout on GauTV.
Lexi said: “I’m not a gold digger. I concentrated on working hard. I hustled and it finally paid off.”
Even though Big Brother Mzansi was a starting point, it took hard work for Lexi to be where she is today.
“I’ve been rejected like many other people. Being Mandla’s girlfriend is also not what got me here.
“Hard work is what brought me here,” she said.
“What’s great for me is that I’m not trying to prove anything to anyone.
“All I care about is making a success of what I’m doing. I’m so proud of this show.” ) The Weekend Hangout will air on GauTV (DStv channel 265) soon.
