SPHIWE Langa is a furious mum.
That’s because she has not seen her 16-year-old daughter, Silindile, for months and she believes a friend of her daughter’s knows where she is.
The 38-year-old mum’s anger boiled over and she exchanged blows with her daughter’s friend, Nana Maphopha.
Her neighbours at Zenzele in Springs, Ekurhuleni said they had to separate the women who looked like they wanted to kill each other.
Sphiwe told Daily Sun: “I can’t sleep at night when I think of Silindile. Nana is refusing to tell me where my daughter is.”
When the SunTeam arrived on the scene, the women were still fighting and Nana screamed at Sphiwe: “I’ll beat you because you’re accusing me of knowing things I don’t!”
Sphiwe said when her daughter went missing, she went all over to look for her but no one knew where she was.
“My other children keep asking about their sister’s whereabouts. They were close to her and have every reason to be worried,” she said.
She said she didn’t open a missing persons case with the police as she still believed Silindile would come back home.
“I’m praying that she comes home when she sees this story,” said Sphiwe, adding that her daughter’s phone had been off for a long time.
Nana said she had no idea where Silindile was.
“I was with her on the day she went missing but I can’t confirm her whereabouts. She’s a big girl,” she said.
