THUGS KILL SOMALI SPAZA SHOP OWNER AND FLEE!

A SOMALI spaza shop owner remained calm when thugs pointed a gun at him while raiding his shop.
He thought they were just threatening him, like they usually do during a robbery, and would not harm him.
But this time they didn’t spare his life!
Thomas Edemo (28) was shot dead at one of his shops in Folweni’s A section, south of Durban by unknown men on Friday.
His landlord, Delani Cele (44), said Thomas was gunned down during the fourth robbery at his shop this year.
“Apparently three thugs walked into his shop and pretended to be looking for something to buy. After a few minutes they pulled out guns and started taking groceries.
“They took all the money in the till and ran outside. Thomas chased after them but one robber turned around and shot him dead at his shop’s doorstep,” said Delani.
Customer Nomthandazo Shozi (46) said she would remember Thomas for his kindness.
“He sold groceries to us at a reasonable price and would even give us credit,” she said.
Colonel Jay Naicker said a case of business robbery and murder was opened by Folweni police and no arrest has been made yet.
